When summer rolls around, root beer floats become a regular treat in our house. There's something about a cold mug, a scoop (or two!) of vanilla, and sharing one with family after a long day that never gets old. We swirl together creamy vanilla and root beer ice creams to recreate that first frosty sip—sweet, smooth, and unmistakably nostalgic.

Peach Sweet Tea (GF)
Every summer, our backyard peach tree reminds us that the season never lasts long enough. It's the time of year when everything seems to revolve around fresh peaches, and this flavor has quickly become one of our favorite ways to celebrate them. Inspired by the simple Southern tradition of a tall glass of sweet tea on the porch after a long day, we blended smooth black tea ice cream with ripe peach flavor and swirled in our homemade peach ripple. It's refreshing, nostalgic, and the kind of scoop that makes you want to slow down for a while.
Watermelon Sherbet (GF)
Watermelon is summer’s shining star—cold, sweet, refreshing, and somehow always better when shared. We turned that classic summer bite into a bright watermelon sherbet with a little candy-shop punch and finished it with mini chocolate chip “seeds” you can actually eat. It’s playful, nostalgic, and made for the hottest days of the year.
Butter Cream Bakery Maple Bar & Coffee
Since 1948, Butter Cream Bakery has been part of Napa's morning routine. It's our family's go-to diner, and nine times out of ten, you'll find us sitting at the counter with a hot cup of coffee and one of their legendary maple bar doughnuts. We started with our fan-favorite roasted coffee ice cream, added a splash of real maple syrup, and folded in chunks of Butter Cream's signature maple bars to celebrate one of Napa's most iconic breakfast traditions.
Strawberry Shortcake Bar (GF)
Some flavors don’t need much explaining. They just hit that instant summer nostalgia button. This one is inspired by the classic strawberry shortcake bars we all remember: creamy vanilla, bright strawberry, and that sweet pink-and-vanilla coating that somehow made the whole thing. We built ours with sweet cream ice cream, strawberry ripple, and a gluten-free strawberry shortcake streusel for a scoop that feels familiar, playful, and very hard to stop eating.
S’Mores
Our family loves to camp, and after a long day of hiking, paddleboarding, and being outside together, few things beat sitting around the fire with friends and passing around the communal s’mores kit. Everyone brings something different—cookies, candies, whatever sounds good—but nothing quite beats the classic: honey graham cracker, a well-toasted marshmallow, and a milk chocolate bar melted together. Our scoop starts with a honey graham ice cream base, then layers in gooey marshmallow fluff, homemade fudge ripple, crispy graham cereal, and just a touch of smoked sea salt for that little hint of campfire to last the whole ride home.
Apple Pie à la Mode (GF)
They say there’s nothing more American than apple pie, but we’d argue it’s even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting on top. This flavor is our take on that classic dessert bite, built with creamy vanilla ice cream, a homemade Granny Smith apple pie filling ripple, and a gluten-free buttery-almond pie crust streusel. It’s cozy, nostalgic, and basically summer à la mode in a scoop.
Rocket Pop Sorbet (DF, V, GF)
One of our favorite childhood summer rituals was gathering coins from the piggy bank and chasing down the ice cream truck the second we heard that familiar jingle rolling down the street. The hardest part was staring at all those colorful pictures on the side of the truck and deciding what to pick. When in doubt, Rocket Pop was always the easy choice: bright red, white, and blue; sticky fingers; and three bold flavors melting together faster than you could keep up. Our version layers naturally flavored and colored cherry, lemon, and blue raspberry sorbets into one nostalgic scoop made for hot July days.

Pure Vanilla (GF)
Sometimes simple is the sweetest. Our classic Theda’s base starts with organic cream, eggs, and sugar, blended with pure Tahitian vanilla. Grown in the lush islands of French Polynesia, Tahitian vanilla is prized for its naturally floral, almost fruity aroma that sets it apart from the more common Madagascar variety. It’s delicate, fragrant, and layered—proof that “plain vanilla” is anything but.
Crème Brûlée (GF)
Inspired by the classic French dessert, this scoop starts with our rich vanilla crème anglaise base, made from scratch with organic eggs, cream, and sugar. We fold in golden, caramelized burnt sugar shards that deliver the perfect sweet crunch in every bite—just like cracking into the top of a perfectly torched crème brûlée.
Fresh Strawberry (GF)
Seasonal simplicity — organic dairy, fresh in-season strawberries, and Madagascar vanilla. We only make this flavor when strawberries are truly ready — sweet, fragrant, and red all the way through. For the warmer season, it steps in as a rotating Family Favorite.
Cookie Dough & Cream
A house divided, we couldn’t decide which cookie ice cream to make… so we made both. A mash-up of two classics: our house-made chocolate sandwich cookies folded into a rich cookies & cream ice cream, swirled together with chunky, fresh chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. To top it off, swirls of creamy white chocolate tie it all together. Two cookie ice creams. One scoop.
The Rockiest Road (GF)
We took the beloved rocky road and gave it an upgrade. Our rich chocolate ganache ice cream sets the stage, layered with torched mini marshmallows for a hint of smoky sweetness and studded with crunchy hazelnut praline for an elevated nutty twist. Familiar, nostalgic, and just a little more grown-up — this is rocky road, reimagined. Contains nuts.
Nana’s Shortbread Biscuit
Empire biscuits are a Scottish classic—shortbread cookies sandwiched with jam, icing, and a cherry on top. Growing up, I made them with my Nana, and this flavor is my love letter to our time spent in the kitchen: brown butter ice cream with shortbread chunks, raspberry jam, royal icing, and just enough cherries to make her proud.
Fresh Mint Chip (GF, V)
This one’s all about the real thing. We steep heaps of fresh mint leaves right into our coconut cream base for a bright, naturally cool flavor that skips the extracts entirely. Delicate ribbons of dark chocolate stracciatella add just the right amount of crunch and richness, making this a refreshingly indulgent classic.
