‘We Built This For Our Community’: Theda’s Ice Creamery Opens in Napa

In a town known for its culinary creativity and small-business spirit, Napa has a new addition to its local food scene: Theda’s Ice Creamery, an ice cream shop with a distinctly community-focused mission.

The shop, which officially opened Oct. 7, was founded by the husband-and-wife team of Trevor and Chelsea Terrill, longtime marketing professionals with deep roots in the grocery and wine industries.

Trevor Terrill, who spent the last 12 years in corporate wine marketing, said, “I wanted to do something creative and more involved in the community.” The inspiration for Theda’s came from his childhood memories of making peppermint ice cream with his grandmother, Theda Terrill.
